Sparc Systems on Friday donated K6 million to Beit Cure Children’s Hospital to go towards its fundraising initiative aimed at helping 70 children in collectable surgeries.
Beit Cure is targeting to raise K105 million at a fundraising dinner which will take place on August 4.
Sparc Systems Limited Technical Sales Engineer Grace Jonazi said the donation aligns with the company’s values in giving back to the community.
“As a company which is socially responsible, we felt compelled to come through,” she said.
Beit Cure Executive Director Elly Chemey hailed the company for supporting the initiative.
“The money that we are getting will go towards the actual surgery, food for the children and guardians as well as physiotherapy and mobility devices,” he said.
He called for more support from institutions and individuals.
